Dr. Simpson is a Graduate of Capella with a Doctorate Business Administration – Business Intelligence and graduated 6 months earlier than scheduled, with a 3.906 GPA this is attributed to his aggressive approach for aggressively completing the program and dedication. Dr. Simpson is AGILE, CASP, ITEL, SCRUM MASTER, PMP, Six Sigma, and MCSE certified. Executive Director with over 30 years of experience in IT management, corporate governance, and technical resources management. Dr. Simpson ’s specific expertise is in managing the operations of medium to large business units, large data center configurations, strategic leadership, utilize AGILE, SCRUM MASTER, and Six Sigma processes for development and implementation for large commercial and government organizations, performing business continuity and disaster recovery operations analysis, conducting network configurations, software development.

Dr. Simpson has worked in the environment of Project Management, Management and IT Technical support and understand the political aspect to include the rigorous schedule for work must be accomplished. Since many departments have such a serious demand of technology, dealing with security enforcement across the nation, he has performed such task for federal and state organizations. The stringent requirements to, direct, manage, supervise and coordinate the programs and activities of the Information Technology Management Section of the Agency is not new for his responsibilities.

Dr. Simpson is experienced in corporate operations management and major Program Management, to the Executive Director level, for government and commercial contracts from $20 million to $250 million. Full responsibility for all related P&L, financial, staffing, and add-on/re-compete business development activities for Intelligence Community support and major systems integration contracts. Implemented and managed Health Information Technology projects for Office of National Coordinator Health IT.
